What Does this lipid Profile Result Mean?

Sir, I have got my lipid tested and the results are as under Cholesterol levels 198 LDL112 HDL46 In this situation I want to know whether it is excess or normal levels and if I want to use an Amway products which one should I take. Please let me know. Thanks

Hello

Findings indicate mildly raised LDL level.Ideally it should be below 100 mg%.
Cholesterol level is towards upper limit.Ideally it should be below 200 mg%.
Triglyceride level is not mentioned in your query.It is also important to know triglyceride level.

I suggest proper clinical examination and routine investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,random blood sugar,liver function test,renal function test,ultrasound of abdomen.

At this stage,I only suggest diet and life style changes.
You should avoid fried and fatty food.You should also go for brisk walk.
Take lot of fruits and vegetable in your diet.
You may also need follow up tests after 6 months.
